We are looking for a fulltime gas technician to service our fireplaces and barbeques in the Newmarket area
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Provincial gas technician certificates and record of training are required (G2 minimum)
- Advanced technical knowledge of natural gas appliances, equipment and plant operations.
- Ability to climb ladders
- Valid drivers’ license and clean drivers’ abstract
- WHMIS certification
- Ability to lift heavy objects (i.e. minimum 50 lbs) on a regular basis
- Good customer service skills

Positions Available
Gas technician
- Service our customers’ natural gas fireplaces and barbeques in their homes
- Inspect systems and their components to ensure safety and identify necessary repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment with minimal supervision
- Work and drive safely, using appropriate safety gear and techniques
- Ability to service clients in a 24/7 environment with on-call responsibilities
Warehouse Assistant
- Able to lift heavy loads
- Take inventory of materials shipped and received
- Store, count, weight and open materials received
- Load and unload vehicles for transportation of goods
- Fill warehouse orders for shipping
- Facilitate customer pick ups
- Label boxes to identify materials and maintain warehouse organization
- Dispose of packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets and cardboard
- Assemble products and assist installation crews when required
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Salary: $17-$20/hr
Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay type: Overtime pay
Work Location: In person
