Fantastic service. We had Matt change out our old gas line with a new one while moving the location of the gas BBQ off the deck. Matt arrived on time, performed the requested service (in cold weather), cleaned up the area, and everything now looks very organized & safe. Thank you Matt for all your hard work today. I had a very positive experience with the removal of my gas fireplace. The gentlemen who attended the house took the time to explained the work, protected the floors and workspace, completed the work quickly, and left the house clean when they finished. They were also very courteous and professional. I don't leave reviews very often, but they did a job worth recognizing.
Matt and John were amazing and went above and beyond. Their communication was excellent and we can’t say enough good things about them. They called twice to let us know the timing of the delivery. I recently purchased my first home and it came with a wood fireplace that I wanted to convert into an airtight. My wife and I looked up various stores in our area and begin going in to see what they had to offer and what the price point would be.
The first three places we walked into started selling us on higher end airtights while barely asking us any questions about the room it would be installed in. It was just a big sales pitch trying to get us to spend as much as possible.
Edward at Classic Fireplace was different. He let us look around the store and asked us to get an idea of what we thought we wanted. When we had a few that we liked, he asked questions to understand the size of the room the fireplace was located in, the layout of our home, where the air intakes are for our HVAC, etc.
He actually talked us into a less expensive airtight because it would better fit the size of our existing fireplace opening, not overheat the room, and provide us with the best bang for our buck! There was no sales pitch with him, just an honest conversation and my wife and I both felt like he truly wanted what would be best for our home and not just what was best for his bottom line.
Now that it's been installed (which was also a painless experience!), we're beyond happy with it! It's perfect and we could not have asked for a better addition to our home!
If you're in the market for a new or updated fireplace, I would definitely suggest talking to Edward! I'm already trying to talk my wife into letting me get a new BBQ from him in the spring!
